One foot in the rave
These retired Vegas showgirls have escaped the nursing home, and they're ready for a wild night out on the town. They come equipped with walking sticks, ‘dancing vitamins’ and geriatric acrobatics that they've remembered from their days on the stage…or at least they remember some of the moves. Lighting in a pill bottle, these Grandma's are ready to relive their risqué youth, take their Disco prescription, and tell scandalous tales of that time they almost went to bed with Frank Sinatra.
Memoir
The grandmama's of this project, Rosie Clark and Nancy Hannigan, met long before their acclaimed seasons on the most glitterous stages north of Newport.
After graduating Rose Bruford's European Theatre Arts BA, they began creating immersive narratives for festivals and events. From Disco Doctors to Texas Tennis Players they've created a wobbly world of characters with a multi-skilled troupe of talented troubadours including actors, painters, DJs, musicians and circus performers.
